Tile Walls
Last year I began the endeavor of creating a tile wall as a fundraiser for my children's school. In retrospect, I could not have accomplished this project and achieved the successful results that we did without the help and commitment from Bobby and Fred.

Bobby and Fred (owners of Color Me Mine in Beverly Hills) were instrumental in helping Overland Avenue Elementary build a dream wall. In addition, their staff was helpful and creative. From the creation of the actual invitation, to providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere at Color Me Mine for the Overland Faculty to create their masterpieces, and finally the actual day of the event of designing and painting each tile. They even helped give suggestions with the installation of the wall itself. These gentlemen make fundraising a joy and the experience was nothing less than a dream! All business owners should follow in their footsteps!

Much love and success to you guys always,

Deborah Torgan (Overland Avenue Elementary parent)

Non-Profits
Color Me Mine Beverly Hills helps CoachArt fulfill its mission to bring free, private lessons in the arts and athletics to children and adolescents with chronic and life-threatening illnesses.

CoachArt's partnership started in 2004. Originally, Color Me Mine supported our organization's fundraising. They donated their time to fire plates that were painted and signed by various celebrities. The event was a success: Color Me Mine Beverly Hills fired more than fifty plates and they helped us raise over $30,000. Last year, our partnership strengthened when Color Me Mine Beverly Hills began to volunteer their time and expertise to teach the students in our program.

Color Me Mine Beverly Hills is now one of CoachArt's strongest coach volunteers. Color Me Mine has built lasting relationships with the students that come to paint in their studio. Our students look forward to the personal attention they will receive and the friendships they have developed with the employees who work with them. These children face ongoing medical procedures and reoccurring health issues. For these students, their weekly trip to Color Me Mine Beverly Hills is a highlight in their week. In addition, they have mementos of their visits. They are able to bring beautiful ceramic pieces home to share with their family members.

Every week through these classes, we see how committed the store is to its community. Through their donation of time and expertise, they are making the lives of our students better. We consider ourselves fortunate to have Color Me Mine Beverly Hills as a program partner.

Mischa Barton has her eyes on a giant coffee mug at the Color Me Mine pottery store in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. The O.C. star met up with pals Nicole Richie and DJ AM there and left her mark on a teddy bear figurine and a hand-painted heart.
